Co-headliners Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z wanted their sold out 'Legends of the Summer' North American tour to stand out, which they achieved with a stunning visual set. Stageco US was requested to create the staging system to support this unique production design comprised of layered LED square arches creating a memorable 3-D effect. The stage was branded red and screens started the evening red, but burst into life with dramatic effect once the show was underway. The tour was booked at short notice, at the height of Stageco's summer season, so the head office supported the Stageco US office by rescheduling some of their own plans to ensure the client got what they needed. In an ideal world three identical systems would have been allocated, but the solution was for two different systems to be utilised across nine dates on the 12 city tour. This included a Superroof along with a 5-Tower roof that was re-engineered from the more commonly used 4-Tower system in order to accomodate the 58 tonnes of production equipment. Dedicated crews from Stageco's German and Belgian offices with experience working on both stage systems were also flown in to support the already busy US crews in achieving a tight tour schedule.
